Walking to class, not in a real hurry, because your prof let you out a few minutes early since it's friday (but your next class is still across campus), when a freshman stops you to ask where ----- building is. You procede to give them directions, and then foolishly conclude with the statement that you are in fact headed there youself, and they ask if you'd take them and show them. You agree, and then they turn around and have a conversation with someone else for a few minutes. :x

Arghh. I stayed calm, simply turned on my heel, and started walking. No comment, no expression, just made it plain that this was a waste of my time and if they wanted help they'd better accept it. They got the message and hurried to catch up.

And, of course, students supposedly smart enough to get into Tech mispronouncing the word "paradigm." Grrr.. :?
Walking with a horn (or two), some comedian says, "Don't you wish you'd played the piccolo?"
In this instance, you walk up, and hit the dude with the horn, or drop it on his foot, and say, "Don't YOU wish I'd played the piccolo?"

If dropped it would probably flutter to the ground...light as a feather.

Wade's story made me feel good, too. It somehow has the ring of utter justice.
