So...how exactly do you determine this?
SD

I am convinced that 90% of the problems with rhythm, tone, intonation, articulation, technique, and overall prowess on the horn are related to air issues.

Click on yourself, then see what user number you are in the resulting address line, ie:
... and assume 'sheddin is No. 1, therefore you are 171! :D

For fun, I put in:

profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1

hoping to confirm that our dear administrator is indeed, "No. 1." What is received back was:

Sorry, but that user does not exist.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you! The black helicopters are coming! The black helicopters are coming!

Or, one could just assume that Sean is No. 2??? :D

I did that and the resulting number was 43. But when I pulled up the memberlist with the "default" setting, my number appeared as 39. Both numbers are a shock to me as I had assumed there were several hundred members who had already signed up before me. I'm not sure how to handle being know as one of the "original 100".
I've been waiting for someone to point out that these numbers only reflect the eagerness with which many of us signed up on the New/Revised Tubenet back in 2004. My number comes up as #47, and I know there are quite a few more than 46 members here whose presence predates mine.

Using the URL, I'm 8899, which confuses me greatly, considering there are supposedly only 5000 people on this forum. Unless I'm more technologically illiterate than I thought and am looking in the wrong spot...

No, I think it has more to do with hackers and bots, and why 'sheddin has had to revise the registration procedure.

Got it. This probably especially applies in my case since I'm a newer member.
