I would like to see him juggle three tubas while playing a kazoo and washboard upside down.

How about here:

I tried the silver King and think that it needs a valve job to be remotely playable, but the other one, used in serendipity plays OK. These King eefers are the ones with a very small opening, so will NOT work for the more corpulent among us.

Hmmm. An instrument that will fit me?
Mary Ann, who unfortunately cannot remotely imagine a situation in which she would play a sousaphone.

A little off topic, but I'm tuned in to Conan O'Brian right now and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band is on - always nice to see some tuba action on national TV.

Great post. Does anyone else remember when they brought on four sousaphonists to play taps when they retired all the Dolly Parton Jokes? That was hilarious.

I've tried RealPlayer, QuickTime, and Windows Media Player. I'm only getting the audio portion of this download. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to download another plug-in?

Here's what I did. I bought a 3v from tubatinker. Within 2 weeks a 4v York showed up on ebay for $750. I ended up with 2 Eb sousaphones and one angry wife!

You probably need to download a codec. You can get such codecs at microsoft's website I believe.

Bobo on Carson

Post by Mitch »

[/quote]Sure wish those tapes of Roger Bobo were available, too. I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Doc

You won't have to wait much longer; I found the videotape (circa 1985) containing both Bobo performances. And you won't have to pay!
