I've always been a fan of Milwaukee power tools, but I haven't bought one in quite a while, as they (drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, etc.) are all still working great, after years of service.
Please don't tell me they are now being made in China.....

If it helps, I got a Milwaukee heat gun a couple years ago that wasn't made in China! The guy at the hardware store was sure it would be, but I'd checked. It's made in Romania!

I am not up to date on this, but a couple years ago there really was a sort of European suburb of China - in Prato, Italy, where a substantial Chinese garment industry turned out garments labelled "Made in Italy". The workers in these establishments were actually worse off, from what you'd read in the reports on it, than their relatives back home.
