Getting along as you describe is the exception, but more common the smaller the group.

Tyranny is the natural state of Mankind.

That's why Liberty is rare.

Given the stuff you post, I can't assume you take that seriously. Hope not. If so, the first bonds you need to loose are the ones around your mind.

Sung by a woman who apparently had something left to lose - her life via heroin.

Oddly enough, she drove a Porsche, just like all her friends!!

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Had to laugh when I saw that. Made me remember that on our way to my older brothers graduation from NU with his MBA in 1977 I stopped in Evanston and bought my one and only Porsche - a really nice original 1963 356C Cabriolet in British Racing Green for all of $3200. I'm haggling with the seller (a Porsche mechanic) and my mother is fuming that we are going to miss seeing my brother cross the stage. We made it to our seats with all of about 5 minutes to spare. She wanted to kill me. I on the other hand thought it had been time well spent!

I suppose a very unenthusiastic accomplice could help make a deal happen on your terms.

"Dude, we have to go, right now!"
"Well, we gotta go man, I'll ... uh ... I'll get back to you."
"Hang on, really I think we're pretty close!"

Yeah I know - it's insane - you really never know how nuts the market can get - but I can't complain as I sold it several years later for a really nice sum and used the proceeds to buy a completely different animal - an all matching numbers '69 427/390 HP Vette Convertible. I felt the need for speed! Not much of a tuba hauler though.
