Today was the day for my horse to get new shoes. He stepped out nicely with them. By the way it is currently snowing here. You have been updated.

No - Blaze did not, skis would have come in handy.

The sun did make an appearance and the snow is starting to melt away. Not a moment too soon.

Rev Bob, Draft Horses used in Horse pulls around me have a large clete on the front of their shoes. Believe it or not these big belgians are still used in the NC mountains by logging companies to pull logs where vehicles dare to trod. They can pull twice their weight pulling a sled. Expensive to maintain------------On days they are not working they eat 60 lbs of hay and 15 lbs of meal plus 30 gallons of water each.

You need to try using a "blokepiece" They say by doing so you can totally eliminate "Brain freeze" and "dripping".

i find it amazing that a small(71 members), independent(not affiliated with the Baptist Church or any other mainstream religious organization), bunch of hate mongers could garner so much attention. Our society certainly must enjoy being titillated to the max. What a waste of time.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Some family of a dead soldier should pay them off to not picket, and involve the FBI in a sting operation.

Further, towns should go ahead and let them picket/demonstrate/whatever...but about ten seconds after they start, fine them for disturbing the peace.
Get out the fire hoses , rubber bullets, and German Shepards----------and I hear there's still some room at Git-mo, or maybe some room for them in an Afgan prison.

Your school of higher education couldn't be Princeton, Harvard or Yale---------------The elitists, entitled, ruling class have a subtle way of eliminating the possibility of such happenings on their campuses. In fact I seriously doubt if they really realize that type people really exist(As they hold up in their gated enclaves.)

True dat. Obama went to Harvard. He would let that happen to his peeps...

*assuming you meant "Princeton."
Yes but he got there by his SAT scores, not the LEGACY PROGRAM which has been operating for 200 years and was set up by all the robber baron grandpas who dominate the board of trustees and alumni groups . These groups are so powerful, I will probably have my taxes audited for just writing this thread  You know-----Mr Obama has been very quiet on this whole affair, hasn't he??? Guess if I was fortunate enough to go to Princeton, I would know how to spell  but it was my lot to go to a lesser bastion of higher learning. You'll have to for give the ole southern farmer.
