Tonight I get to perform Bydlo. My just Euph sits in the corner waiting for a chance like this. Last year it was the Planets. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good, right place, right time.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

My wonderful girlfriend surprised me with tuba cupcakes for my birthday. Even better, she made them from scratch. Mexican chocolate with cayenne and chili powder icing.

Actually, the food dorn looks quite good. I am suffering from twisted innards again, and reveling in clear liquids for a day or so. :(

I have a friend who just got fired immediately for a negative post regarding her looming layoff when other people with less qualified people retaining theirs. Given my profession I am REALLY careful about what I post on FB, and don't offer much political or social commentary. I suspect my employer would have a hard time finding me being cranky here...We'll let you vent, Schleppy.

All of a sudden, it is important to practice again. There may be a future(although, give the present state in things in the U.S.A., I'm not sure that is a good thing. LOL).
