Ah! But the quest is what it's all about. Or is that the Hokey Pokey? I think I'm confused again.

Ah, Ken. This has not been happening lately. I have come to recognize that playing golf and playing tuba, for me, don't seem to happen during the same periods of time. Sometimes I am busy playing tuba. This has been true for the last three months. My golf game gets virtually ignored. When the tuba gigs aren't happening, sometimes I can play more golf.

Let's see. Let's examine the facts. I enjoy both playing tuba and playing golf. Golf: costs money. Tuba: makes money. Gosh! When I have the choice to make, which one should I choose.

Well. This week will be family(as in extended family) activites. I may get to play one round of golf with my brother-in-law and my niece's husband. We'll see. Whatever happens, it likely won't be a pretty sight. I haven't swung a club in about two months.

The way I've heard it, there are two types of people: Those who classify things into two catagories, and those who don't.

as for the Kellyberg, you are probably more correct than I am willing to admit. If I do go that way, I think I'll stick with the crystal orange.

After reading your other poll posting where you described your usual motivation in posting, I can see how you're deriving a great deal of entertainment from this thread. I have also.

Your reference to Mormon theology is an oversimplification of what is, even within that faith, a complicated and sometimes controversial topic.

I'm no quitter!....but being bad at golf can work out sometimes.

Just call me "the 2008 Glidden Monday night golf league champion"

I shot a blistering 46 for 9 holes that day!...with a 13 stroke handicap. The scratch golfer I played in the finals never had a chance.

It's that feeling of whacking a small white ball 240-250 yards off a tee into a beautiful sunrise against the backdrop of purple mountain majesties and fresh air.

Ken F. (only a 20 or so handicap)
I feel that way too, but generally, the trees stop the ball from going that far.

I've broken 100 several times. I shot 105, 110, etc.

Seriously, it sounds like I might relieve some of my stress if we were to play a round of golf together. Now if we can only work out a mutually satisfactory location. what do you think?
Do you think we can find the properly hyphenated American golf club somewhere?

my best ball golf score is +12. Balls found vs lost.

now, Disc Golf, you're talking somethin'. breaking 70 is generally easy, of course 95% of the courses have par 54.
