Insulation is a wonderful thing. My laundry room is on the outside wall. I had the opportunity to do a bit of temperature analysis Tuesday. The air in the room was 65 degrees. The room side of the wall was 62. Inside the wall next to the insulation was 57. Up against the inside of the outside wall it was 42. The outside of the outside wall was 14. The outside temperature was 8. A lot of houses in Georgia are not well insulated and I see a bunch of water pipe freeze claims every time we get a cold snap. So far I've had 6 this week. Insulation is a wonderful thing.

(Conveniently, there was actually a 110 outlet under there mounted to a floor joist.) She crawled through that hole, wrapped the heat tape around those pipes, secured it, and plugged it in to the extension cord. It was very dark, very cold, very cramped, very dirty, and very spider webby under there. To this day, I am very proud of her for doing that.

Mrs. Bort asked him to fix a few things on her old Mac laptop. If there's one thing in this world that can drive me to insanity, it's trying to fix things on a Mac. I really don't understand how Mac users can handle this stuff! :)

They don't. They ask PC people to fix them.

Our quintet-3 trombones, euphonium, tuba-played/acted Stars and Stripes at a community concert last night with the lead trombone playing the piccolo solo and a trigger "trill". Standing ovation. Also, my first jazz performance at the same concert. It was a blast!

I recently changed insurance companies for my auto coverage. Today I received notice that the cars would not be covered for any nuclear explosions or radiation. I'll have to live with the glow in the dark paint. They would also not be covered in the event of being blown up by a missile or if I was involved in any war.

I'll have to call the agent and find out if somebody throws a hand grenade at it or fires a shoulder rocket at it during peace time if I'm covered. I assume I'm covered since they did not specifically exclude or mention rockets while I'm not involved in a war.

So please if you must blow up my car I would request that you NOT use a missle or nuclear bomb. A rocket or hand grenade look to be OK at this point unless I find out differently. Thanks!

Trust me, your old policy didn't cover that stuff either. Those seven exclusions are written into all policies.

yes.

I guess we all assume that Ryan-The-Capable will land on his feet.
lol..thanks bloke. One car in the shop and one on the way Feb.3. Funace fixed. It must be that time of year. While I was purchasing the part for my furnace, another guy was buying the same part. Yesterday, my brother in law had his furnace die. You guessed it....same part.
