Definitely not East St. Louis. Actually the historic Grove Park Inn, Asheville, N C. What a wonderfully relaxing spot.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

If a Hindemith sonata burns in the forest, does anyone really know what time it is?

You mean "byoob" net.

BTW, it would only burn in the forest if the humor around here gets any drier. It's comedy kindling around here.

I dropped out of Brass Band tonight. I've been contemplating NOT going to NABBA again for some time and found a 'sub' to cover for me at the local university 'brass day' while I was at 'Windjammers' last week. He agreed to go to Grand Rapids on April 11th so I'm 'off the hook'. I had been with the Bend in the River Brass Band for about eight years and the commitments and schedules were conflicting with other things I do so it was time to quit. No bridges burned. Whew!

Yesterday around noontime I ordered a rim for one of my Blokepieces from Dave Houser. It arrived in the mail TODAY at about 10:30 this morning. Kudos to both Dave Houser and to the USPS. That was amazing. Kudos to both!

Let's move on to page 601 - I'm tired of seeing that Kiltie has worms or something bothering his rear end!

Could be 100 to 1 but, just might get there!

And yes, he has been wormed so he will NOT have an itchy butt.................

This week, I purchased my first bottle of 3-in-one oil. I have not used it in years. I forgot how good it smells.

The odor of 3-in-1 Oil always reminds me of Christmastime, a dog named "Pepper", the smell of spruce, and (the primary trigger) Lionel electric trains.
That's it!.... but for me, it would be electric race cars and HO trains.
