*Books: Some of you may be unfamiliar with this ancient media form. They where sheets of papers bound together that contained words and sometimes pictures pertaining to various subjects.

Holy mackerel! It sounds like there might a whole lot of information out there moldering away in these book things! I wonder how Google Books is coming along?

Painted ceiling/walls basement stairway tonight. Just about finished - tray of paint resting above top step on 1st floor - Bobo - 95 lb. of well muscled dog - appears @ top of step to investigate what's going on down below and straddles tray of paint - I turn - see him and yell - DON'T MOVE! - he translates as MOVE! and steps deeply into paint with 2 paws - I yell STOP! - he translates as - GO!

Hallway oriental rug from one end to the other ends up with well defined white latex paint paw prints about the size of a leopard. 1 hour to clean latex off him + 1 hour to clean kitchen tiled floor + 1 hour to soak/scrape rug which goes to cleaners today.

Aaaargh - hate painting but you still gotta love Bobo!

Great weather today. The Valentine's lights have been changed to the St. Patty's Day lights.

I went to a community band rehearsal in Owensboro, Kentucky this afternoon. After rehearsal my wife asked me to stop at Walgreen's so she could pick up some allergy meds. While I was waiting in the car a middle-aged lady approached me and asked for $17 so she could get her mother's toilet fixed. Never heard that one before!

Watching Ireland playing France for the Rugby Six Nations Championship very exciting both teams competing hard, Ireland are trailing by one point at half time.
Next 20 minutes of play will probably decide it.
