We recently learned that our fourth child due this July is a BOY! (I have three girls already) We were able to decide on the name Holton (don't tell him that's what's on the bell of my tuba) but my wife wants to spell it "Holten." I like the spelling with an "o" for obvious reasons, but she reminds me that she's the one filling out the birth certificate
Updated you have been!
Which spelling would you vote for? This might be a biased crowd, so she probably won't accept my polling data...
Jordan
King 2341 with a Holton "Monster" Eb bell
Eb Frankentuba
Martin Medium Eb Helicon
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving's probably not for you.

Holton. I'm completely(snicker) unbiased. I don't own a Holton.
Not quite as impressive as the 'grill shots' that Bearphonium posts but today was a great day to toss on a few burgers on the thirty-five-year-old grill. Yeah... that's a Leinenkugel 'vanilla porter' left from Christmas!

YES! At 260 pounds I don't need the extra bread. But... I AM a meatetarian!
Well... I could have said one was for the dog. But.... I don't have a dog!

If I ever create a new email address for myself, I'm going to come up with the easiest one to say over the phone. I've had it with conversations like "did you say M or N? D? or B?" I need to research and see which letters are the most easily understandable over the phone.

These days it would have to be 'triple seven'!

An excellent point! This might exceed the standard for this thread.
WOW! What a revelation! Disabling 'Adobe Flash' will speed up your browser and all those annoying ads on the right side of TubeNet will go away!

The senior minister at our church, who is tone deaf and musically illiterate has begun making musical decisions for the music staff. This should be fun! NOT!
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
