Congrats! This kind of news deserves to be elsewhere, though, as Update Update is for trivial things in life.

Got to show off my "Roger Lewis trick" for high range last night. 1st euph can't play above a high D (which is actually pretty damn good,) and using Roger's lip rolling in technique I can get an easy, clear, loud high F. ( I can't get "to" it or "from" it but I can play "it.") So I did that and just damn near broke my face smiling at myself. Every once in a while we tiny little pipsqueaks get a tremendous kick out of doing something the huge guys can't. ha. He still lent me the baritone so I guess I didn't piss him off too badly.

I may have to update my picture. Based on my silly post from a while back looking for a Norwegian Star, I got offered one that I couldn't say no to. Assuming all is well with me and it, I'll have something to play if / when I get an opportunity. I think it is very similar in height to the Mphone 184 CC in my picture, but the Star is silver. So is my hair, now, sort of, but still more blonde-ish than silver-ish. Never, ever will be blue-ish.
