BULLS**T!To armchair quarterback this case and criticize the jury's decision is an exercise in presumption, ignorance, and self-aggrandizement.
She is being sued for defamation by Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez(she named her as one of those fictitious characters). The prosecutor may file a motion for "special costs," related to the case. AND, she owes the IRS $70,000 for $200,000 she is getting from ABC, for family videos.Uncle Buck wrote:Who would sue?TubaRay wrote:If I'm not mistaken, there are already a couple of lawsuits pending. Meh, it's just money she'll owe. A lot or a little, she'll recoup it all through media deals if she decides to go that route. Yes, $200k is a lot, but probably not a lot compared to what she's going to owe her lawyer!TubaRay wrote:Her woes are not yet over, but she is alive, and will be out of jail soon.
No, things like this don't happen every day in America. The fascination is because so many people were certain that she was guilty. But the evidence just wasn't there. I'm not sure where we can go from there, but it is interesting, nonetheless.Brown Mule wrote:News said 1000 people were at jail at 1201 AM to see her get out of jail------------how many community band concerts and other gigs we play in draw a thousand people--------------Hm maybe we should schedule all musical programs at 1201 AM![]()
I attended a 4th of July Marine band concert and possibly 300 people were there.
I don't think it's the time of day. I think it's the venue. Try scheduling a concert outside the jail and claim the ensemble members are all child murderers who beat the wrap. I think a lot of people will come.Brown Mule wrote:News said 1000 people were at jail at 1201 AM to see her get out of jail------------how many community band concerts and other gigs we play in draw a thousand people--------------Hm maybe we should schedule all musical programs at 1201 AM![]()
