I opened up my case to find my entire bottle of Hetman's open and spilled in my case. Luckily it was in a compartment and didn't get on the instrument.
I also don't have to pay out of pocket for college this semester (excluding loans haha).
So life is pretty good right now.
Uh, is it possible that this was posted to the wrong thread?
Sounds like an update to me!
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

One is whining about desert, the other is getting ready for bed. It's only 7:19 here.

I'm afraid you can no longer say you have children. You do have sons, and they are your offspring. But children? Not any more.

(Correction, actually)
I, TubaRay, am not old, but I used to be. That was some years ago, however.

Sounds like our friend, Elephant has had a slice-of-life day.
Sorry about that. Brings up memories of many of those days I lived through. Hope the gig went well.
I gotta tell you that something so great happened yesterday to me and my family that we all feel the hand of God on our shoulders. Things went from super bad to wonderful overnight. I can't be more specific, now, but things are looking up long term.
Grateful to have lived long enough to see this happen,

UPDATE:
It's bloke's birthday today, and none of you have wished him a good one. You haven't even wished him a good one on all of his past birthdays, too! This is an outrage. I expected better from the TubeNet.

Update: In honor of Joe's birthday, I thought about going over to Philly and gawking at our President-elect as he made his train-trip south, maybe telling him that Joe said hi. But, it was 18 degrees here and it just didn't seem worth the hassle, even for Joe. Happy Birthday, Bloke.

Tsk, tsk--if you smoke those things, you'll never make another hundred! You and your president can both quit this year.

It's snowing here in Durham, and I'm working from home today to avoid the I-40 destruction derby. It's been 5 years since the last more than a dusting snow.

Jan 18th is an odd day for me, statistically.
-Wife's b-day.
-Uncle (and Godfather's) b-day.
-Roommate and groomsman b-day.
-Another friend from college b-day.
Now I have to add bloke to the list of Jan 18th birthdays. 5 on one day is highly coincidental.
