Unlike Schlep, I have had a great deal of success driving into stationary objects.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I compose original music and am an AVID editor for Tomorrow's World television program, which airs on over 300 stations worldwide, and also work as a cameraman in our television studio. In addition to that, I direct Church films for congregations all over the world.

Here are a few photos from work...

Our program is moving into a brand new facility next door this year, with a new High Definition set made by the same guys who do the sets for CNN. The program is expanding quickly, and were now on networks like WGN, BET, WORD, VISION, and The Christian Network in Canada.

We preach the full truth, as written in the Holy Bible, and observe the Sabbath and God's true Holy Days. Our program never asks for money, and only gives away free literature to anyone interested in what the Bible REALLY says about todays news and our future as human beings in the universe.

I still play tuba at Church and occationally on YouTube when I have extra time. Before I had this job (when I was a self-employed composer) I had much more time for TubeNet, YouTube, and other tuba related stuff. Now that I'm so busy (not to mention planning my marriage), I have less time to play the tuba and discuss it here with all of you.

I hope to begin teaching privately here in Charlotte on Sundays sometime next fall, and would like to someday borttle and sel my most excellent homemade valve oil. We'll see if my schedule permits it.

God bless all of you in finding a profession that you enjoy! And may you all find His truth, if it's God's will to call you at this time.

Rick "engineer--duh" Denney
Well, ok, if we're going to get specific.....I'm in charge of the conceptual design and front-end software for the remedial action scheme that protects the city of Tucson against blackout caused by loss of transmission system elements, while meeting all state, regional, and national reliability criteria.

I also will be teaching a NERC accreditation class on emergency response for the transmission system operators this spring.

And on occasion I drive thoroughly crazy several young male engineers who work under my tiny but eagle-eyed gaze.

M "still a Enjinear" A, who bets that Rick's job has more headaches while mine has more excitement (Operator on phone: MA, we lost A, B, and C!! WHAT DO WE DO NOW?!?!?)

Watch the grandkids grow up, go for long walks and bike rides with my wife, play my horns with some great groups, run with my daughter, enjoy the mountains and the outer banks, pray, meditate, and try to save the planet from us. My day job is finding out what works and improving the effectiveness of child abuse prevention, adoption and foster care programs. Thanks for asking. How about you?

I still think Wilson should have gotten the nod for Best Supporting Actor- after all, he did get a hell of a lot more screen time than Helen Hunt.

Her's might, but mine would be used as a toilet.
