Branson has grown alot in past years. When I first went, it was pretty much Silver Dollar City. Now its a major tourist attraction. Its really wierd. There's not much else in the city other than the attractions. No other real industry I could see.
I did enjoy seeing Yakov Smirnov's show. It was surprisingly good.

After 2 years of driving past it twice a week (from Millington to home for the weekend, then back) I find it best view by the light of a full moon around 2am. That picture doesn't show the view with all the trees along 64 either, which really add to the ambience.
Hey, Schlep

Maybe you could leave the wife in Bolivar.

Boliver? That's almost as far north of Springfield as Branson is south. Then again, maybe that's the point!!
Oh, you're not talking about Bolivar, Missouri, are you? But while you're at it, give it a thought. They have an old courthouse that looks alot like the building in ThomasDodd's picture!

Bloke, Interesting how different that building is for the other 4 in TN. What does that say about rural, west Tennessee?
