With the non-specific New Year's festival gala conifer trimming?bloke wrote:Perhaps it was that the same concert I attended several years in a row...where two Jewish religious December tunes were mixed in with a couple of "wintertime" tunes and a tune or two about Santa Claus or his reindeer?

Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Where would that be on a scale of 1 to 8?Albertibass wrote:you mean the fish?the elephant wrote:Albertibass? Would that be large or small mouth?
its Bass as in TUBA.......or alberti bass, like the typical form of chord you hear on a piano, which is broken into an arpeggio.
It would be nice to be a fish, so ill have to give you a "nice try"

So what's new? Io, Saturnalia, y'all!Seneca wrote:December est mensis: cum maxime civitas sudat. This *definitely* isn't to be confused with the one that I will be attending next week. It's my first at the middle school and it was a big shocker to discover that there's not a single holiday song in sight. I'm predicting it will be a drummer in the gym with a snare.bloke wrote:Are we discussing a concert you attended during this last week?

I did hear the ultimate neutral holiday song at my daughter's program last week so take note all you aspiring composers because this could be what the stuff that concerts of the future are made of!

1/ Well, I've worked in both, shopped in both, and played in bands in both (being half-way-between has its advantages). I studied at WMU (Kalamazoo), and play in the Kalamazoo Concert Band, so that does bias me somewhat in that direction, but they both have advantages, and it's nice to have the option (either one's about 10 minutes away).bloke wrote:OK (since it's Christmas)...Answer two questions for me:
1/ Kalamazoo...or Battle Creek?
2/ Is this still considered low enough to be part of "Michiana"?
2/ As far as I know, it is, but probably just (it takes about an hour to get to the Indiana border from here (in good weather

Merry Christmas!
