An old friend once told me that no music or food is "bad", it's just "interesting". While researching the topic of epoxy "lacquer", I came across this recipe:

Image
Banana Treets
Makes 12 Pancakes

2 cups flour
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1-1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1 12 oz can ARMOUR® STAR TREET or PREMIUM PORK, finely chopped
1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 cups milk

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Combine eggs, milk, and oil; mix well. Add liquid mixture all at once to dry mixture; mix only until moistened. Stir in Treet or Premium Pork, bananas, and nuts. Bake on hot, lightly greased griddle, using 1/2 cup batter for each. Turn when top is slightly bubbly and edges slightly dry.
Anyone care to submit some of their "favorites"?
