Although I've had my share of cars with ad hoc toggle switches and various rigs, I can't say I've ever had one rigged to the extent of the Torino. Back then, I had a 350 watt Weller soldering gun that could solder a car radiator.
I do miss the push-button transmission on the 1964 Polara.

I can't say I ever had much trouble with IPD, but that was back in the days of 140's...
Life was good back then. When you needed a bigger radiator, you just got yourself an old refridgerator from somewhere, yanked the back off, and duct taped 'er in. If the door light didn't come on when you opened the hood, you were groovin'!

Joe, my father would have loved you. I remember a certain 1964 Plymouth Station Wagon that was rigged like that. That was the only time, until it became mandatory, that my mother forced us to wear seat belts. Had something to do with my Dad's hand pumped brake system.
