Who ya pullin' for? I'm not much of a football fan but people around here are frothing at the mouth so I thought I'd canvas the tuba/euph world.

I think I have to agree... a sports event where the main interests of the game in order from most interested to least are:
beer
commercials
halftimeshow
junk food
the actual sporting event

I gonna go off on a limb and say the commercials are going to be the big winner in this Super Bowl.

... but I hear that this year, at halftime, Regis may have a "wardrobe malfunction"!

American football COULD be a great game. If they took away the equipment and gave the players clubs and maces! It would be a lot easier to decide the championships

I will be spending the day plating bare root roses, early bulbs, trimming my cypress trees, and reading a good book. In other words, a typical weekend spent doing things that make me relax when I am at home. I'm sure many people will make lots of money. Big Deal.

I met Sean Alexander more than once at some fund-raisers we play for at University of Alabama. He has to be consistently one of the nicest guys I ever talked to-so modest with a great atitude.
I know my team,The Saints, will never make it to a super bowl. I would like to see the Seahawks prevail and Sean continue the fantastic year with all the style and humility he is capable of.

If instead of the recent trend of half time extravaganzas they used all star marching bands from each of the 2 cities we would all be winners by having one hell of a half time show to watch. We could then declare the winner by the best band. Of if you team didn't win you could always say "At least our band was better then their's".

Now
that'd be worth watching! (which, sadly, means there isn't a snowball's chance that they'd actually do it ...
