Saw that happen in Mexico City in the early 70's. Those critters really get mad. I believe that for 24 hours before the bullfight they make all the animals listen to nothing but rap music. That would do it for me.

I have been to many a bullfight in Tijuana and never saw anything that would jeopardize the lives of the audience. Outbursts like this are quite rare. Trust me.

If you must know, it's a water buffalo. This was in a Chinese cemetery in Parakan, Central Java, Indonesia. My ex-wife's ancestors are buried there. I was wanting to get a picture of myself with the tuba by one of the massive grave markers. Then my (then) sister-in-law saw the water buffalo herd feeding there. The herder would let Tina take pictures so long as I gave him lunch. Best $1.98 I ever spent.
