My Eb tuba has "Nashville City Schools" stamped on the backside of her bell. It's a 1940 King-top action 3-banger. I bet they don't want it back.
They're not getting it back.

Great story...and for $3, if she feels guilty about it, she can always mail it back to the L.A. county library when she is done...still a lot cheaper than buying the book and trading it end at the end of the semester.

I usually order mine from Europe so it's about halfway through the semester before I actually get my books...
