Just in case you haven't noticed, Windows Anti-Spyware has been replaced by Windows Defender. Still a free download (about 6.4MB).

If the installation aborts with a cryptic message about GDI+ not being around, download this self-extracting file and set the extraction path to your windows System32 directory (either WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 or WINNT\SYSTEM32, depending on which version of Windows (2000 or XP) that you're running:

The KB article that deals with the message isn't very helpful, so this may save you some hair on your head.
If you've already got Windows AntiSpyware, this will overwrite it, so you don't need to remove AS first.
