Coffee contains caffeine. Even decaf contains small amounts of caffeine. Caffeine is a drug. Everyone knows musicians don't use drugs.

Coffee is my drug of choice.....and perhaps the last truely legal cost effective "high".

I prefer it black if it's good......like from a French Press.......other wise w/ Cream, No Sugar.

If it's really bad I toss-it.

The last several of years I've taken to the "home-barista" route and have been making very nice espresso and espresso based drinks at home...very yummy!

here's my home espresso rig.

Just about any coffee except Starbuck's. Bleeeeechhh! When I do break down and buy a cup (if I'm at the bookstore)... it's the only coffee that I ever have to use cream and sugar in to dull the bitterness.

Luwak for me... the only way TO GO.

Just kidding. I use Luzianne coffee (with chickory) and Sugar in the Raw (turbonado) exclusively. No colas or other soft drinks for me.

I like my coffee like I like my women-bitter and murky.
My partner, John Reno is selling and servicing expresso machines for home use. Latte's from your own kitchen! Seems to be a trend that is on the grow.

The famous mathematician Paul Erdos once said, "A mathematician is a device for turning coffee into theorems."

Amen to that.

dunkin donuts coffee rocks!

extra cream, no sugar (that's what the donut is for...)

I buy it by the bag of beans and grind it fresh just prior to brewing.

Nectar of the gods.....

Must admit I have to have my daily bean. I am not picky, but do like 7-11's coffee a whole bunch. Starbucks tastes like what I IMAGINE piss must taste like. How's that for a visual.

I can't imagine my morning coffee without my morning cigarette. Hey Doc, I have discovered Pilsner Urquell, lovely stuff, but when it gets hot here, I'll drink my weight in Coors Light.

Enough cream and sugar to make it not taste like coffee...

I drink coffee for one of two reasons, which requires one of two choices:

1. Because I enjoy female company (particularly the company of my wife) and that requires occasional morning Starbucks dates for what I will call a "breakfast drink". It might contain some espresso. I don't care. I must admit that the habit resulting from this practice occasionally extends to making Starbucks purchases even when in the company of male friends. I am ashamed to admit it, however.

2. Because I need to wake up, in which case I'll take whatever has caffeine in it, with little concern about flavor. I like the bitter taste of Starbucks, but if Folgers is all that is available, I'll tolerate that bitter taste, too. In the absense of feminine company, any coffee that is free is good.

Almost any old way....but usually with cream and sugar. I have one of those italian espresso things you put on the stove at home, and it hisses and burbles and makes half a cup of good stuff. Grind my own....

but alas, lately, any caffeine whatsoever results in a sinus headache the day after, that goes on for 36 hours, and nothing works to kill it not even more caffeine. So...back to being dry.

But best I EVER had was a thimble-full of real live Turkish coffee from a middle eastern restuarant here in town, coffee on top, grounds on the bottom, just enough sugar so it wasn't bitter.. Food is great there too. When I ordered the coffee, the proprietor said, "You want to wake up?" at lunch time. I said yes, got the thimble full, took 45 minutes to drink it and had a buzz going the entire time. Wow!

Black coffee (very strong); no sugar, no cream (and a lot of it).
I especially like finely ground boiled coffee.

Also, no decaf for me!

Vienna Roast or nut Brown from Coal Creek Coffee Company In Laramie, WY. Black from my own machine

Not the way that they have stooped to brewing it now...the "St*rb*cks"(or Charbucks) style. So burned and over brewed that I would rather just empty my car's used oil into a cup and drink it instead. At least the oil would taste better.

Bleah,
Sou

Turkish coffee is the poo. It tastes better than any other coffee based drink available (when done right).
