Chuck is a good guy and a good musician who made many insightful and valuable contributions to this board. I, for one, will miss his thoughtful and, sometimes, cage ratlling posts.
His gift to this board was to make his point emphatically and thoughtfully without resorting to coarse language, character assassination or pictures of food. What a concept!
Say it ain't so, Chuck!

I feel the same way. I sincerely hope he changes his mind.David Zerkel wrote:Chuck is a good guy and a good musician who made many insightful and valuable contributions to this board. I, for one, will miss his thoughtful and, sometimes, cage ratlling posts.

I know TubeNet has its downside, but I continue to learn from the posts of other, knowledgeable posters. I believe this is worth the small amount of time I spend logged in. And, yes, I practice tuba, also. Rarely is it true that I am on TubeNet instead of practicing. It is not always possible to practice. There is also the issue of breaks during practice.
Anyway, if Chuck would listen to a poll of TubeNet users, I would cast my vote for him to stick around.

What do you expect, Poomshanka? You told him to take a flying leap.poomshanka wrote:Dude's a total maniac. Last I heard, he'd gotten popped for base-jumping off the Stratosphere with some kind of homemade parachute he was calling his "Altitudieri".
Total nutjob...

Well, if I'd known it works like that, I'd have said, "Give me all your tubas, THEN take a flying leap".TubaRay wrote:What do you expect, Poomshanka? You told him to take a flying leap.
