21.

"If you aren't old enough to drink, you aren't old enough to post, unless asking questions." This is assuming you already used the search function to see if your question has been answered previously. Only fitting that rule #21 is the 21 rule.

I think it's better to think of it this way:

Most countries I have been in do not grant full adulthood to anyone until they are at least 21. Just because you drink at 18 doesn't mean you can do everything. Here in Vietnam, men are not allowed to marry until they are 22!!! But they can still drink at 18.

Actually, in the United States there are still many things you can't do at 21. Try to rent a car.

Thanks for bumping this. I could not remember the post where "13" became a thing.

I wish Doc's list, as added to sequentially throughout this thread, were a sticky on EVERY bulletin board/forum/chat group/blog, etc.

I know I have tripped over each and every one of these pointers over time.

Thanks, Doc!

I run into Rick in another forum. Next time I read him, I'll remind him to drop by.

What forum? I'd go there just to read his commentary. One smart dude.

Nope. At least, to the best of my recollection, his spelling was impeccable.
