Wow! If I were Santa, I'd write him back and ask him to take lessons on how to write...and lower expectations.

Got to give the kid points for an honest self-appraisal.

Well,
A) He IS in first grade, and only 6 years old. So, at least he can sort of spell and write in sentences. Some of the phonetics may be off due to a speech disability from being near-deaf the first 2+ years of his life. The backwards S is a common mistake among early writers and not necessarily a sign of dyslexia if the majority of letters and words are normal.

B) He isn't getting most of the stuff on the list. This was a classroom project and what one kid wants, everybody wanted. You know how it goes. Two discount GameCube games, a Ben Ten watch, a soft tip dartboard, and a couple of Spiderman toys are probably about it, plus a couple of things from grandpa.

Yeah...maybe I was a bit harsh...But what's the deal with the random "Reindeer" at the end?
