This is what you're looking for: a Firefox add-on that opens links with the IE engine, but within Firefox. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/trseaman wrote:I should add that I do keep IE around for the occasional webpage that doesn't like Firefox... Depends on what kind of email you are using, but Microsoft webmail on the latest Microsoft Exchange server will not work on Microsoft IE7 unless the sysadmin installs a patch on each server. There are also patches that must be installed on Microsoft web servers and other Microsoft servers if different forms of authentication are used.oldbandnerd wrote:I am having many problems with the new IE7 .Many errors and closed pages . Nothing new about Microsoft clients and servers not comunicating.MartyNeilan wrote:Kinda sad when Microsoft can't make their browser compatible with their own servers.
I remember when Windows NT first came out. It was presented as an OS that was hardware-platform independent and indeed, there were versions for Alpha and MIPS and PPC CPUs, in addition to the Intel ones.LoyalTubist wrote:Being a Macintosh user who doesn't like to use Windows, I wouldn't know about this:
