Thank you, Broncos, for allowing the Chiefs into the playoffs. Now, if they can just get past Indy. :)

I'm a Ravens fan, so I'm biased in that regard.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles go deep into the NFC, since its hard to trust the Bears at this point.

The Chiefs moved to Kansas City from Dallas when I was a toddler, so I have been a Chiefs fan basically all my life, and watched Arrowhead stadium get built, as an aunt & uncle lived in Raytown just a couple of miles away growing up, and have and do attend games as I can over the years. But even I didn't dare hope that all four things that had to happen did happen for the Chiefs to get into the playoffs!

I guess the ghost of Lamar Hunt lives on! God bless him!

For the record: the Chiefs were not directly named for Native Americans. When the mayor of Kansas City at the time was courting LH to bring the team to Kansas City, and managed to make it economically possible with some tax incentives, etc., his nickname was "Chief," for his work on Native American causes. So LH renamed the team from the Dallas Texans to the Kansas City Chiefs for him.

Go KC!

Ok, I'll break it down simply for you:

KC beats Indy, NE beats Jets,
Baltimore beats NE, San Diego beats KC,
San Diego in the Super Bowl

Dallas over Seattle, Philly over the Giants
Saints over Philly, Bears over Cowboys
Saints in Super Bowl

We'll see about that one....

As much as I always liked Herm Edwards, and was sorry to see him go, he made plenty of decisions that were questionable. Eric Mangini, on the other hand.... :) Should win Coach of the Year, without a doubt (in my mind).

New Orleans vs. San Diego in the Super Bowl.

And hopefully Atlanta can get either Norm Chow or Ken Wisenhurst to replace Jim Mora...

I agree. Between the 2 defenses, it should be high scoring game. GO CHIEFS

Andy, I thought you were better than that! You forget the Saints beat us in the regular season because of a last second field goal? We'll see come February who's in the Super Bowl...I like the Saints, and they're a great story, but they aren't a well-balanced team when comparing defense to offense.
Alfie,

Believe me, being from Syracuse, there's no bigger Philly fan than me. I just think that New Orleans offense is just too good to be stopped right now, no matter what their defensive makeup is. I know this: winner of that game wins the NFC. Chicago has 0 chance of getting there.

New Orleans has Reggie Bush.

I witnessed his "coming out party", a 2004 game against Virginia Tech. Really the first game he took over.

We started calling him "Jesus".

He runs for our sins. And He > Philly. Cause if it smells like a rat, it probably is.

For once, I don't have to cower to say I am a Charger fan! It was like this 12 years ago, too!

We play at the Tropical Isle Bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Friday January 12th, 6-10PM. Our hotel is the Bourbon Orleans on Bourbon Street. We got a special Pardi Gras pickers rate. As soon as it became clear the the Saints first home playoff game would be on the 13th, I called the hotel and asked if we could stay Saturday night as well-possibly at the Pardi Gras rate. NO WAY! Playoff tickets available? NO WAY!
So I guess we will play Friday to huge crowds, bang around the French Quarter Saturday-until our radio interview at Margaritaville on the Jimmy Buffet radio network and then drive home by dark-having to listen to the game on the radio WWL 870 AM (a 50,000 watt blow torch). Not sure of game time so will bring a portable radio. :D
That's plenty-o-fun for me.

Agreed but....

At this point in time a win is a win is a win....

Luck was with the Seahawks on this Saturday evening and they go to the next round...
