After every episode of 24, I wonder how much more "over the top" the next episode can be. I hate it. But I enjoy it. I can't look away. Honestly though, by then end of the season, I just get tired of it. I barely was able to watch the finale last season.

I had a hard time with some of this year's casting:
- with Kal "Kumar" Penn as a terrorist
and
- Peter "Dr. Larry Fleinhardt" MacNicol as a presidential advisor.

Well, half of that won't be a problem later on...

I'll watch about anything on History, Discovery, and National Geographic Channels along with Food Network. However, my favorite shows at this time are Top Chef, Man vs. Wild, and Colbert Report.

Three shows on Sat night on PBS, done by BBC. Can't remember the names of them...but *not* the one with the pompous lady who has to feel special all the time, and not the one about the retail store. The other three.
also Nature and Nova.

Whoever was complaining about feeling old at 44, see how you feel when you don't really feel all that old but your memory has gone south most of the time. Bleah.

The NEW Battlestar Galactica (I'm a hard core star trek guy, but this is the best sci fi ever put on TV), 24 (glad the enemies this season are more realistic than years past), I enjoyed the idea of Jericho this fall, but some of the actors got to me, and of course Desperate Housewives. There are some foxes on that show. Nip/Tuck is pretty fun too, cause like 24, it gets crazier with every episode.

Tivo is awesome! Cause if theres an ACC basketball game (or football in the fall) or a Braves game, all these shows take a back seat to the game.

There was a program shown in West Germany in the early 1970s in which two cities compete in some very awkward contests. In 1975 the ABC network (in the USA) came up with their own version of the show and called it "Almost Anything Goes." It was on for two years. (There is a website that says this show originated in England--Nope, it was originally West German.)

The original West German series is now seen twice a week here in Saigon. The contests are fun and the 1974 clothing styles are even funnier!

The show I'm watching the most right now is South Park. I never really watched it until about a month ago, so I've got about 10 seasons to catch up with. I'm also enjoying the Futurama re-runs on Adult Swim.

My grandson is hooked on Spongebob Squarepants. I hated it so bad at first but now admire Patrick, SB's starfish buddy. That guy is never any help.
