You guys have probably wondering, "What good could the LoyalTubist do in Vietnam for the good of mankind?" I am helping to start a new crusade against illegal child labor. Vietnam, believe it or not, is one of the safest places in Asia for a child (except on a motorcycle, as motorcycles here are used as family cars with up to six family members on one 1500 cc bike!)



Now don't get me wrong. I think it's OK for children to work. I had a paper route when I was younger. I would think that working to bag groceries or help supermarket customers carry their merchandise to the car a wonderful job for older grade school children--but that's illegal in most of the United States.

What is legal in the United States is acting. There is a movie which has been showing at the Sundance Festival in Utah called Hound Dog. I won't expound on this much. I will leave you with this link...

I've gotta agree with LoyalTubist on this one. This doesn't seem right to me.

Maybe they use motorcycles, but that's not quite the same thing as idiots taking the roads through the hills here at 100+ mph at 2:00 AM on their monster bikes.

Every once in awhile, the sheriff wastes the taxpayers' money by picking a corpse out of a tree. Oughta leave it there for next-o-kin to pick up or better, for the benefit of scavengers. One corpse can make a good meal for a lot of buzzards.

Don't mean to be picky here... BUT a 1500cc bike is a pretty good-sized machine. Sure you don't mean 150cc?

My point isn't about the motorcycle situation in Vietnam. I can't help that.

The point is about the exploitation of children in motion pictures back in the United States. Read the link. I attached in the original posting. I won't expound on it here because it's so ugly.

Dakota's mother was in the room while the "performance" was going on. Incidentally, most of the film crew walked off the job, they were so disgusted...

Obviously, you are correct. The use of this very young girl in such a manner is completely irresponsible and repugnant. I do no have a daughter, however I can assure everyone that if I did, she would not have participated in this scene, regardless of the monetary compensation involved. This is totally inappropriate.
