Sizes...

Post by LoyalTubist »

I have been looking at the Saigon newspapers looking for more work. Here in Vietnam, when businesses put up an ad for a job, they can still discriminate by age, gender, height, weight, and physical appearance. For example, here is a typical ad for a TV cameraman:
Male, 25-35 years, five years experience, 1.58-1.7 meters tall, not over 65 kg.
So, from this I gather that anyone over 5'8" tall and/or weighing more than 145 pounds is a giant.

Btw, employers emphasize that foreigners seeking jobs don't have to worry about the age, height, and weight limitations. But they must offer jobs to locals first before a foreigner can apply.

No, I am not going to be a cameraman.

Well, as "they" say, size does matter...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
