Any accomplishment getting your place to work and live right is wonderful and should be shared.
I found a capped-off well next to by house and dropped a pipe 30 ft. and erected a pump and pumphouse and I get water for the price of running the pump.
I set a water sample of the well water and $5 and a sample of city water from my kitchen sink and $5 to the state for testing. They said my well water was fine but refused to test city water and sent my $5 back with a rather stern letter. I didn't mean to stir up a political/legal hornets nest.
