There have been several times that ladies have come up to me at gigs fascinated by my translucent blue Kellyberg. Don't know what it is about that color in particular. Neither my clear one or gold painted one have that effect.
Maybe we're on to something here.
And I don't think there is such a thing as too many mouthpieces... But my wife does. Luckily most of them are silver so they don't attract her attention unless she sees the box arrive.

My take on mouthpieces is that if I am not using them I sell them. I only have one or two metal mouthpieces for each horn, and one Kelly as a backup / extreme weather piece for each.
IMHO there really is no need for more than 2-3 mouthpieces per horn for the average player.

Tuba Christmas with alternating Punk Pink and Radical Green mouthpieces. I have Radical Green for euph, and it is one of the more obnoxious colors.
