No. I didn't get this one. But I got the 10 million candle power one. Wow! Look at all that light! You can shine it up at the sky too and see the beam. Cool!

These multimillon candle power flash lights are great to have in extreme emergencies . But the batteries tend to be short-lived. I own an older model of one of these. Great for about thirty minutes. I can light up the woods behind my house like its daylght. That's 350 feet away !!!
As for its uses : I have woods behind my house that seems to attract the hoodlum kids in the neighborhood . I can hear them back there at night ****ing around and messing with other peoples property . It was a real problem for a while until I got the super light and started to scare the hell out them and chasing them through the woods with it. I have taken it on many camping trips with my son's Boy Scout Troop and it always comes in handy . Especially when playing a game the troop created called "Man Hunt". It's a cross between Tag,Hide and go Seek, and Smear the Queer.

I have a half-million candlepower with a cigarette lighter plug and a long enough chord I use on my sailboat to spot markers and posts at night. I love it. I shine it up at the sails when I hear something fast coming at me in the dark.
Talk about stupid gadgets, the owner of a club I played at in the late 60's bought a light organ with two six foot tall-three foot wide panels. A bare wire lead was attached to the output (speaker) wires on my Fender Super Reverb amp. Low notes flashed blue, mid-range went green to red to orange and the highs showed yellow and white.
The thing was impressive with all stage lights off but it was hard to see my guitar frets and that plus a strobe light (big one) got on my nerves big time.

Oh, sweet manhunt. Seems its creation is universal among scouts. My troop had a similar game, and it was glorious.

For me, if it works, there is no such thing as a stupid invention. I love gadgets of all kinds--if they work.

Seems to me that this would be a very useful tool for taking the lacquor off a tuba or the paint off of car.
High powered handheld Laser for that.
Way stupid. But probably a lot of fun.

The Jack La Lanne juicer is wonderful in Southeast Asia.
Say you want to make durian juice...
For this, you have to take the pods out of the husk. You can leave the seeds, but you will have to add about one cup of water for every pod. Even with the added water, you end up with a very chewy, smelly drink that everyone likes.
Most Vietnamese food is smelly. I think they do that so animals won't steal it!
