Sounds almost as good as the deal we got on a one owner 1994 Ford F-150 with 190k miles.

We were searching on craigslist for an F-150 to do runs to Home Depot and the dump. Most were $3000-$5000. We stumbled across a guy selling his dad's truck which was used mostly just to commute long distances to construction sites. His dad owned the company.

It was extremely well maintained. New tires, new oil change, air works, has fiberglass color matched bed cover, plastic bed liner, etc. Only problem with it is the front fuel tank does not register on the guage and the engine hesitates when on that same tank. Rear tank works perfectly.

Price. $1700 freakin dollars. He went by Blue Book for an average truck. For this area fullsized pickups go for nearly triple what he charged. We did not negotiate for a higher price. That is for sure.

We called after the ad had been up for only a few minutes. We test drove it, slept on it, and pulled the trigger the next morning. We only waited overnight because it happened to be the FIRST truck we went to look at. Bullseye on the first try. The son said he had dozens of phone calls but held it for us cause we said we would call back the next morning.

$1700 freakin dollars for a fullsized 8-foot bed F-150 XL!

No gun rack yet!? :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

You must be living right, Bloke. If I had a friend hook me up like yours did, I would fill him full of steaks and quality beer.
Happy country living,

The inevitable result of failure to keep a truck driving dog on the premises.
