I lived in Texas for four years and my younger daughter was born in Fort Worth. I must say, I very STUPIDLY turned down an opportunity to stay in Texas--being offered a cushy administrative job with the Fort Worth Independent School District upon receiving my master's degree (boy, was I really stupid!) Had I stayed in Texas, maybe I would still be married to my first wife.

My favorite place in Fort Worth is Joe T. Garcia's!

Wade is right on with the Blanco Cafe in San Antonio. In my opinion, it is better than Mi Tierra.
