Yeah, I think i'd only like it with dark beer. Big Butt and Creamy Dark.

Kinda like Sam Adams Cream stout, irish cream, and coffee--- all mixed 1/3,1/3,1/3. Makes a great breakfast treat!

My home town. I do not go back without a visit to the Spudnut Shop. A dozen in one sitting is not out of the question. I went to High School with the current owner, dead ringer for Alfred E. Newman and a great guy. Absolutely the best doughnuts in the universe, bar none. My children and nieces and nephews still make pilgrimages. It used to be a franchise out of Minnesota, I think, 50 years ago and the franchisor went broke. A few owners found a way to get the ingredients and kept it going. There may be a dozen or so left in the whole country. I see there is also one listed in Washington State.

I kind of miss the old B.O.S.A. donut shops that you saw in and around Milwaukee about 25 years ago. It seems that, at the time, I was one of the last to find out what the initials stood for.

Vietnam seems to be the only country in Asia that doesn't have doughnuts. Someone once asked me to find the best doughnuts in Saigon. Actually, if I find any doughnuts at all here they will be the best doughnuts because they would be the only doughnuts.
