Uh...I think the cheapest in our town is $2.95...this is that stuff that is part Ethanol, and therefore the tax isn't as bad on it, along with the price. The regular stuff is at least $3.05.

Here in the mountains of southern Colorado we're paying $3.35. When I cross the mountain it drops to $3.19.

I'm jealous.

3.19 for the watered down gas.

I pay $2.79 for diesel a block from the house. Regular gas there is $2.89. Am I getting a bargain?? Hell, no. My first summer job in 1969 was as a FULL SERVICE gas station attendant. Good Gulf was 0.24 & No-Nox premium was 0.25.

When I lived in Europe, the actual numbers you would see on the gas station sign were about the same, but that was in EUROS and PER LITER (roughly=quart), which meant the cost in $/gal. was, oh, about EIGHT TIMES as much. Thankfully, that was before I had to worry about gas! :D
Did you see that the octane is 94? If you had a 1950 Buick Roadmaster, this is the IDEAL fuel! I probably see 20 cars in a day... THAT'S ALL. Amazing for a city of 6,000,000 people. Most ride motorcycles.

The price I gave figures to be about $2.73 a gallon. The prices recently came down.

The cheapest prices I've seen lately are 120 kr. pro litre of 92 octane.
That amounts to $7.04 pro US gallon.

Luckily, I don't need a car...

You don't know how luck you are in the US! Over this side of the pond it costs about $8.50

Plenty of rats over here! But, better say no more - getting too close to politics.

I drove from northern Virginia to South Carolina this week, and the cheapest gas I saw (at a Race Trac in Woodbridge, VA) was $2.86. The most expensive I saw was $3.06 in North Carolina. I was usually able to find gas for $2.95 in the Carolinas, but Virginia was (surprise!) a nickel cheaper, generally.

In greater Cleveland, we're looking at $2.95-$3.09 a gallon.

By the way, there's a virtually indispensable website for gas "shopping." www.gasbuddy.com
It relies entirely on "volunteer" reports, so they tend to be more accurate than AAA numbers, or the Lundberg survey.

Filled up last night in Kalamazoo for $3.15 a gallon (down from $3.65 a gallon a couple of weeks ago -- and yes, those are both for regular).

That's what I use. :)

Cheapest in the neighbourhood is 1.31 euro per liter. which converted for your convenience is 1.75 x 3.78 =

$6.61 per gallon.

15 miles to the north in Holland it's 30-40 cent more, England (a healthy 70 mile swim) is even more expensive...

My mother lives in Rialto, California, which has several oil refineries. I think it has the most expensive gasoline in the Riverside-San Bernardino area. The cheapest is in Riverside. With a population nearing 300,000 it's also the biggest city in the area.
