Can anyone tell me how you include a picture in your posting. Does it need to be connected to a website. I hope not because I don't have one.

Thanks in advance
Randy

Hi Randy,

You do need to have someplace to act as the storage for the photo but perhaps you already have this and have not utilized it. Most Internet providers offer their customers a few megabytes of space to put up their own homepages etc.. as part of being a customer. Check out your provider to see if this is the case.

Another option are the web pages for "free" that offer a page if you let them run ads etc.. on them. Something like Geocities or Yahoo and the like. Some Yahoo clubs or groups even have a photo posting place for a couple of pictures too.

Good Luck!

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I've got virtually unlimited web space. I'd be happy to post pics for anyone if they want -- as long as it doesn't get really excessive.

Is that the country-western version of this?

Naw, not really. If I were going to book an act for a family audience these guys would be it. Good funny wholesome entertainment (and some darned fine musicianship) and they even give the small kids a chance to sing. We had 'em out here for a July 4 celebration and they'll be the headliner for the fair in the county to the north of us.

Randy
It's easy. Find a picture you like (Google Image search is very nice for this purpose). Right click on the picture and select "properties" (some browsers, such as Opera will let you copy the image location directly). Look at the properties box and select and copy the image URL.

So, when you're composing a message, just paste the copied URL into your message, then select the URL and click the "Img" buton on the "Post a Reply" menu. You'll note that the BBS software adds an "" after the image URL.

That's it!
