Satellite Locations

Just wanted to share a pretty cool webpage for those that may be interested in what's circling above our heads... When the small screen pops up, just enlarge the screen to get the full view. It shows low orbit and high orbit satellites.

I forgot to mention that you can click on each satellite for it's identity and actual orbit path. The upper orbit satellites that circle at the equator stay in the same position and rotate with the earth. So, if you circle the earth around so you can see the USA, and as you click thru those satellites, you'll find ones from Directv, Dish Network and others...

If you google the sat name, you can also find out what it does. A quick search of a few just showed that they are mostlt comm satellites. I didn't find any DOD sats - Big Brother is well hidden....
