Unexplained weight loss

A guy in a weight watchers group mentioned that he always weighs after his shower rather than before because it's normally a 1/2 pound less. How many of you weigh less after a shower than before. Buck naked both times of course.

Maybe he pees in the shower.

I always weigh 3-4 pounds MORE after a shower.

I'd say it all depends on where you were before the shower:

Is it likely this man always showers in the morning? Perhaps it could have more to do with the time of day (post sleep, been a while since a meal, whatever) than the actual shower. I have heard that you are slightly taller if you measure first thing in the morning- because of the release of the compression on your spine that occurs after a long day standing.

And we know you never lie. This has been proven over and over. :)

You weight about the same unless some of the weight goes with the water.

BUT

The humidity and temperature changes may affect the "machine we use to measure the weight" (sorry I don't know the name of this device in English). I have adigital one in my bathroom and temperature and humidity changes about 2 or 3 Kg.

djwesp gets the prize. The WW moderator polled the room and found that no one else in the room experienced this phenomenon to which she replied, "I thought not, since the rest of you are ladies, and we all know "All men pee in the shower". My friend is now doing the weight loss thing on his own, having been too embarrassed to return to WW. I told him to go back to class and offer to teach them his ½ pound morning technique. He reminded me this is a weight loss class. Case closed. The poll either disproves the hypothesis in its entirety or indicates that this entire lot is being less than truthful.

13!

I doubt any of the other "youngins" would have figured that out. They view their urine as a sacred holy water of tuba playing. Their poo doesn't stink either.

Well, if you add all those inches after a shower....do you now have the "things the rest of us don't have that seven foot tall guys have" that someone mentioned in the Bob thread?

MA, who wants to be very careful how she addresses added inches

Sometimes I don't have enough skin left in the front of my body to shut my eyes.
