Pete
For Pete's sake, you mean to say...?

If you're from OH, IN, WI, MN, the proper way is, "Oh, for the love of Mike..."

If you're from NJ - "Why you keep bustin' my balls?"

NY - "Shut your f*ckin mout or yous'll be sleepin wit da fishes."

TX - "You're about to collide with lead, boy...Knock it off."

KY - "My sister Suzie ain't got no phone. She don't lahk them Yankee sammiches none neither."

Doc
Accurate.

I've lived in Ohio for 26 years, four months, and eight days. I have never, not even once, heard someone say, "for the love of Mike." I have heard, and used, "For Pete's Sake" and "For the love of Pete."
