I just had a couple slices myself tonight and threw mine on an old George Foreman grill. It does the same thing; crispy crust and gooey top! Doubt that is the intended purpose of the G.F. grill, sorry George!

Hey! Who wants it reheated anyway? Cold pizza is my favorite breakfast, even now, all these decades after I graduated from college!

I might seem strange, but I like frozen pizza. Now, before I go on, for our younger audience, let me explain: I don't eat the pizza when it's frozen... It stays in the freezer until I am ready to cook it in the oven... Then I cook it... I used to be a third grade teacher who used to read the day's school cafeteria menu and, not to say the trademark of the pizza that they were serving as an entree, I would say, "Today we're having frozen pizza," to which the kids would reply, "Ewwwwww!"

Anyway, most people don't have ovens here. I still don't have one. When I first moved here, after work one night, I saw some frozen pizza in my local supermarket. I had really been craving it. It was a locally produced creation. They had them in four varieties: ham, sausage, fish, and bacon. I was so excited to get the pizzas (I bought four of them) that I forgot I had neither a freezer nor an oven.

My wife came up with a way to heat up the pizza. I think this will even work on camping trips. You need a skillet with a lid on it, some corn oil, and some corn meal. Thaw the pizza for about two hours. With a paper towel, wipe some corn oil on the skillet. Add a few grains of corn meal to the skillet. Place the skillet on the burner. Turn it on medium low. After about two minutes put the pizza into the pan and cover it. Heat it for the number of minutes as stated on the box.

Voila! Cooked frozen pizza without an oven.
