I don't have it yet (mainly because I don't own a xbox 360). I play Halo 2 on xbox and I still play Halo on PC online on a regular basis and that's free! If anyone also plays online, look me up.

I have it, but have not had much time to play it lately. It sat in its package for about a week before I even got to it. I just played my first (and only) matchmaking game tonight. It was a big team slayer, and 2 people on my team quit at the start, so it was 4 vs 6. It worked out great, though, because one guy on my team had 40-something kills and I had 30-something, and the other team was very bad. The overall score was 100-?? (Insert really low score here).
My schedule is pretty full until after Christmas, but I will be on from time to time when I get a moment to breathe.

I much prefer an nice game of cribbage. The other day my wife and I were sitting outside on the deck enjoying BLT's, the fine New England weather, some great conversation and a game. What video game could compete with that? Oh, by the way I also whipped her butt.

I could spend hours playing any of the variants of SimCity, SimTower, etc. You build a city and turn it loose.

Unlike us, who just get it for the articles, right?

Don't own a X-Box, so no. Trying to catch up on the first two Metroid Prime games, before I go out and get the third for the Wii. Almost done with the first, and I've been playing that since....May? June?
Gonna be some time before I get there....heck, I might not even get to Guitar Hero 3 until the holidays.

Actually, the only home video game I'd like to have is the original Nintendo system with that duck hunting game with that little dog that pops up and laughs at you when you miss.

My neighbor has it. I'm waiting for him to get sick of it so I can beat it.

I'll take an old, slow RPG any day. Working my way through FF9 again on the PS1 (and I mean a little, white PS1). It ain't the graphics and the gee whiz stuff that counts, it's the game.

Indeed...I hope you've done FF7 though

Around 28 times, give or take. Problem is that I have it down to a rut. I keep saying that THIS time I'll do it different, but then I don't. My rut is just too good. It's a little unusual in that I have Yuffie do most of the heavy lifting and battle arena fighting. If you build her up right, she be whupass bad. I have a bunch of Dex Drive saves if anyone out there still uses one.
The problem with the newer games (FF10, FF12) is so much goes into the graphics and movie clips and not enough into the game play. They are OK, but tend to not have a lot of replay value. I've done 10 two or three times, even went to all the trouble of getting the ultimate weapons and beating the top boss of the fighting arena. I've done 10-2 and 12 once each and don't have any big urge to do them again.
Chrono Cross on PS1 I've done multiple times and bought the soundtrack.
Skies of Arcadia on Gamecube (originally Dreamcast) is good.
I've done Xenosaga I for PS2 a few times, but didn't take long to get in a rut on that one. I did Xenosaga II one time. Still need to do Xenosaga III.
Jade Empire on Xbox (got my rut on that one), Beyond Good and Evil on PS2 have good replay value. BG&E is a little buggy.

(sigh) I finally broke down and got the kids an XBox 360. My kid is playing Halo 3 as we speak.

I also just bought my 360 about 2 weeks ago... Halo 3 version... Only game I currently own is Halo 3... Gamertag is Encrusted Huah... hehe... I usually just get some practicing in after work, then get on the old idiot box and play Halo for a few hours, keeping the horn nearby for long tones or Rochuts while the next map loading up... See you on the battlefield!

I knew my kids wanted Halo 3, so I did think about the "Halo 3 Edition" XBox, but I decided it was cheaper to get the regular one that came with two other games and shell out the extra 60 bucks for Halo 3. Same price, just with 3 games instead of one.

I had heard that the Halo 3 Xbox wasn't actually supposed to come with Halo, it just had a Halo theme to the system...but maybe I missed something.

The soundtrack to that title is absolutely amazing....some of the best music I've ever heard from film or videogame. I have yet to see a BOA band tackle it, even though many a marching band (and a couple drum corps) has based their show music around the soundtracks of several other videogames. It'd be nice.
