Hmmm... I have Audacity on my computer and use it to edit recordings of my community band. However, I've never used the 'align' function since everything is already recorded with the tracks beginning at 'zero'. After you posted, I DID manage to pull up a recording and move one of the tracks and then re-align it to the original location.... but I don't remember exactly how I did it. I think it's a matter of selecting the track you want to move and then dragging it to the new location. Try the 'help' file.
