Ridiculous price! And in a couple of years it will be worth next to nothing.
Personally, I watch so little TV, I wonder if it will be worth replacing the present set when it packs up. Playing tuba is a much better way to spend ones time

That is one nice TV. Too bad there isn't anything *on* TV worthy of such quality.
$32K..... 2.5 Hirschbruners...
Go with the tubas. A fella can make some money with a tuba.

Screw TV....buy the thing and use it as a computer monitor!
Or better yet...buy 2 40-50 inch Flat screen LCDs (couple thousand $' a piece) and a computer that can output to both of them (if you don't already have one) then buy one awesome tuba with the rest of the $$.

Buy a bunch of violas! Then, you can always start a nice fire and keep warm!

I could have a lot more interesting viewing experience with the telescope. I was seriously surfing for a TV for a Christmas present for my son when I stumbled across this outrageous thing. If I had a bonus that big in the works, and I don't, it certainily wouldn't turn into a 34k TV. I could even buy Rudy's 7/4 and have a bit of change left over.

Then you could watch the neighbor's TV!

In our house, we have an over/under bet on when we get an HDTV. My side, which I will probably loose, is under 2010.
