Several years ago, I purchased a pair of wireless stereo headphones. I believe that they used FM (900 Khz?) transmission. The listening experience was extremely disappointing and annoying due to the interference, even within a simple wood-frame residence. I had to turn my head one way or the other to avoid the noise from the interference. I stopped using them, and they still lie dormant somewhere buried in a box.
Certainly technology has improved since then (Bluetooth, etc.) to the point where the interference is all but non-existent so that one can enjoy excellent full frequency range stereo sound (umm, kinda like Decca/London's old FFRR/FFSS, for those of us who remember those designations).
These would be primarily for use in the home, not necessarily for travel purposes. What models would you recommend under $100?
