Reminds me of a joke about Christmas presents told by the late, great Gene Tracy. I think it was on the 'Truck Stop #6' tape. Something about everything he got for Christmas was two sizes too big.

The day off. And the two days following, too. I work on Friday.
And next week, I get Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off, too.
Remember, they celebrate Christmas here, but it's not a holiday. I am sure the kids didn't do anything in class yesterday.
I don't know about the university... On Monday, I wore my Santa cap and my upper level English class at the university decided to throw me a party. So much for class... They said, with my almost completely white beard, I look more like Santa than the typical Vietnamese Santa.

A nice little electronic keyboard to help with some arranging I want to do, plenty of warm fuzzy shirts, a couple of "attitude" t-shirts, some cold weather motorcycle gear, and Christmas Eve night off so that I could drive to Salem for the TubaChristmas concert without having to double back and work that night.
My Christmas day I got to deal with the fruits of other people's grand ideas to go "look at the snow" that included an elderly woman who got lost on a FS road spending overnight Christmas Eve in her car, and one carload of kids that ended up upside down in a creek about 30 miles out of town. Two notifications, one good, one not so good. Be careful, folks!
